The world appears to be becoming a little more dangerous on many fronts. We will be exploring why this is and what we as researchers are doing to contribute to the numerous social, political and economic debates occurring in these very interesting times at our annual AMSRS Conference on the 6th – 8th September.
At the Society, we believe in the importance of thought leadership and continuous professional development while networking with colleagues and having fun. The Conference is a safe place for our research community to engage, interact, learn and network with 600+ professionals working in a rapidly changing industry and environment. We have collaborated with 13 keynote and invited speakers from around the world as well as 56 local industry speakers to bring you 100s of new ideas on research and how we use it to influence the community and the world we live in. Participate in one of our 4 workshops and 4 panel sessions and network with both client-side and agency researchers, business leaders, analysts, project managers and consultants at the beautiful Sydney Hilton.
This year we have a terrific rate for young researchers under 30 – send them to their first conference for $1000 and not only will they receive a full conference ticket for the 2 days, they will also receive complimentary AMSRS membership for a year. Our QPMR members, who are committed to continuous professional development, will receive a free conference workshop in the price of their conference ticket. We are also delighted to collaborate with the Women in Research (WIRe), with a welcome drinks presentation that will kick off the conference with a bang.
My sincere thanks to the Dangerous team – Tiina Raikko, Chris Mawn and their hardworking committee for putting together an exciting program to challenge and inspire us. As always my heartfelt thanks to Leslea Clements our Conference Manager for organising the logistics for this 3 day event – that includes opening and closing drinks as well as a spectacular Day of the Dead gala dinner – that makes this year’s Conference the premier event for the research and insights community.
We look forward to seeing you there.
