David has worked in commercial and social research for more than 20 years, working in WA before moving to Canberra in 2007. Since 2015 he has been an Associate Partner at ORIMA Research. Originally working in commercial market research he now specialises in the social side of the research industry, working with a wide variety of federal, state and local government clients on their community and stakeholder research needs.
David has a background in Psychology, and works across both qualitative and quantitative research and evaluation programs. He has a particular interest in individual and collective behaviour, and in community level research. His most satisfying work has been into emergency communications, the Anzac Centenary, the sport sector, the tax system and looking at innovative methods to try to resolve complex land planning challenges.
David is a QPMR, and the current Chair of the ACT Division of AMSRS. David has a keen interest in the national conference as a flagship event for our industry, and is keen to integrate the national conference with state events to further the objectives of the Society and for Members.
