With 15 years experience in advertising and marketing, Ali is a firm believer in the power of researching first-hand.
She ran a qualitative research program for Aldi at Bmf for six years, including everything from groups to diaries to eye tracking.
Now CSO at VMLY&R (say that three times fast), she’s continuing the focus on human insights developed beyond the glow of the laptop screen, and combining these with other data for fresh strategic approaches. (read more…)

Kerri Sackville is an Australian author, columnist and social commentator. She is a regular contributor to Sunday Life magazine, the Fairfax website Daily Life, and news.com.au.

James Valentine presents Afternoons on ABC Radio Sydney every weekday. He is also currently touring a live theatrical version of the show called Afternoons Tonight.
James has worked for thirty years in all aspects of Australian media. For ABC TV he has presented and produced the arts show The Mix, a reality show for amateur musicians called Exhumed and in the 1980s he was the kid’s TV presenter on the Afternoon Show. (read more…)
Actor, comedian and writer Greig Pickhaver (also known as H.G. Nelson) is one half of iconic Australian sports comedy duo “Roy & HG”. The award-winning duo originally teamed up in 1986 for the ABC Triple J radio comedy program “This Sporting Life”, which was broadcast nation-wide for 22 years and led to several successful TV spinoffs. Pickhaver is a graduate of Flinders University. After a stint as a roadie for Australian rocker Billy Thorpe in the early 1970s, Pickhaver moved into acting and comedy and first developed the HG Nelson character while performing in the Melbourne radio sports comedy show “Punter To Punter” in the early 1980s.
